Effortless Weight Loss

Is there such thing as effortless weight loss?  I know, i know, i can hear women saying “no way!” or “yeah yeah……what fad is next for this”?  But honestly, with the right advice, a solid set of principles and the want to do it it can be effortless!

Let me give you some top tips in this blog………..

BE REALISTIC!

Be realistic!!  100% all in isn’t realistic!  Making baby steps, adding as you go.  Be OK with 80/20……..focus 80% of the time, kick back for the other 20% of the time.  Sustainability is vital!  I see women making the 100% mistake ALL THE TIME…….they get overwhelmed and struggle to start or just give up after 3 weeks.

DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DO! 

Do what you say you are going to do!  Make a plan, if that’s to train Monday, Wednesday, Friday……then DO IT!!  If you are going to eat less sugar, then eat less sugar!!  If you are going to hit 10,000 steps……hit those steps!!  The more you let yourself off, the more you will keep doing that same thing!!  What is more painful?  To stay how you are right now or to add in 2 training sessions a week and eat better?

STOP CUTTING OUT FOODS

STOP cutting out all your favourite foods!  Life is for living.  If you continuously restrict and deprive yourself you are going to rebel!!!!  Moderation is KEY!!  Learn it!  “I just cannot do moderation”……..you can you just haven’t found the right support and simply have not given it enough time.

MOTIVATION AIN’T SHOWING UP FOR YOU

Motivation will not show up at your door, you will need to start without it!   You have to build motivation, grow it over time!  How?  By doing the work, feeling how it feels to feel good!  Feeling how amazing training makes you feel, then motivation shows up!  STOP waiting for it, you will wait another 5 years before you start!

WILL POWER….THE MOST OVERUSED, RUBBISH WORD IN THE FITNESS INDUSTRY!!!

Will power is the most overused, rubbish word in the industry!  Bomb it off!   I HATE the phrase “will power”!  I would say 80% of my workouts are done without will power………..they are done through discipline and knowing that it will make me feel better!!  If we waited for will power then a lot of us could be waiting a very long time OR worse, it never comes!!!
